Check your warranties!

Remember - the warranties provided with your new purchase may vary for different parts of your camper. Check out your owner's package or ask your dealer.
 
For example, on my 02 Jayco, the 2 year hitch to bumper warranty expired in March of 04.  This means, drat, drat, double drat - I've got to pay for the brake work I need done.
 
The canvas has a limited 5 year warranty.
 
The lift system is lifetime.
 
Thoughts to keep in mind as you put the babies to rest for the winter or consider getting major repairs done.

Sometimes you do get lucky, though.  There was a 5 year warranty on the axle on the Palomino.  Had to replace it 2 months after the warranty expired.  Lucky for me ~ the service manager at the RV dealer went to bat for me and got the replacement warranteed out.   All without me asking him to.      Gotta like that!

Don't forget the warranties on the fridge, ac, furnace and other options ....
