Andy I am sorry that you guys aren't going to make it.  Give Helga my best and I hope to see you on another trip.

Andy, give Helga our best...  We will miss you guys.  I know Sabrina will also miss Rocco and Charlie.  Please drop me an email (or call) if you need anything.  I am sure we will be camping together later in the season!

We got home at 4:30 pm.  Stopped at Camper's Barn on the way home and picked up a new high pressure regulator.  I didn't get the auto change over regulator.  They said it would be about $90 :yikes: because I need a high pressure line for the outside stove.  I picked up some of Rick's fire color sticks and the new high pressure regulator.:)

I got home a little before 1pm - made it to K's soccer game. Chris showed up around 4 pm. Guess he hung out and visited with R & S. As he was backing the trailer into place, we noticed some slashes/gashes in the tire - guess it's time to order new tires. Glad he didn't get a flat on the road.

Glad we missed the rain as forecasted but those winds sure brought back memories of Assateague. Eating dinner out reminded me of Assateague also.

Good seeing everyone. Happy Mother's Day everyone. Andy, we missed you. Hope you can make one of the other trips.

Jazman what site are you on at Watkins Glen?  I posted that you were going.:)

Hi Guy's
Glad you all had a good time.I hope the weather was ok up there.
It was good here, but very windy.I think it was 2 years ago when all of us were there and it was also very windy. We had Rick's favorite site(171) and the wind coming across the Lake(s) blew us almost over, at least that's what it felt like.
We will definitely make one or more of the trips.
I have reservation for North South Lake for the last weekend that they're open. And I was looking to go to the one in Pa in the fall, too.
So,will see. Looking forward to getting together with you guy's.

Hey all!

We just got home, today was simply a wonderful day up there...  We deserved it after the night we had.  We were having problems with the battery that came with the camper.  It wouldn't take a charge.  I plugged in the van and ran it for 1.5 hours and the battery was good for 15 mins then went DEAD.  This was 11pm.  We were all showered and in bed.  We grumpily got dressed and went to Kingston Wal-Mart to get a new battery.  NO deep cycle batteries there.  So I drove alllllllllllllllllllllllll the way home to my Wal-Mart and they had one left.  We drove alllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the way back and had a good night after that.

It was nice seeing everyone.  Andy - we missed you guys.

THE PARK RANGERS ARE STILL LOOKING FOR THIS MAN...

Did that guy drive a suspicious white Subaru?   Nah.   Rick, you'll get yours.   I'm watching now!

Shopping for new trailer tires... looks like Tirerack wins.   Any issue going to radials with the same size & load range?  Thoughts?

I have heard that radial tires have more sidewall play and that the trailer is more prone to sway, using them.:)

We have bought tires for our vehicles from Tirerack.

Hey Chris, I was wondering when you would see my last post...  :eyecrazy:   Tirerack is the best.  I have heard the same thing as Tracy - a little more sidewall flex.  I can say now having both radial and bias ply, the radials work well...  especially since they hold air.  I spent a little extra and had them speed balanced as well, and to be honest I could feel the difference with that - seems to track dead on.

As long as they are trailer tires and not vehicle tires.:)
