Tell Dan that we will be more than happy to make sure the kids (and Dan!) get a BBQ dinner on Sunday.  Don't worry about it.  We'll even reserve a spot and have a cold one waiting for you at the fire!

you're the bestest...I feel sooo loved :p   I would have passed on working if it wasn't the fact it was the first day..but hey it'll be easy $$ and the hours aren't bad.

BTW I now have Bocce ball (not regulation but still fun) and Horseshoes too.
I'm going to charge up all Kevin's R/C cars for the kids to play with. -He has 4 or 5

it's almost Friday..I wish we wrer going camping this weekend (well except for the rain)

I just had a "duh" moment....I kept seeing everyone posting on this thread throughout the weekend and I thought to myself, what are these people doing online so much while they're camping!?!?!  Then it just now hit me...the rally's NEXT weekend.  And to think I was thinking about all of you all weekend and wishing that the weather had been better. :eyecrazy:

I'm really not happy about this forecast.  It would be one thing if it was only supposed to rain one day this weekend but it looks like rain is expected the entire weekend.  Booohoooo!  Whale watching in the rain?  I guess the whales don't care!  

So Dee, we checked the cancellation policy for Newport Dunes and it looks like we need to make a decision by tomorrow in order to avoid forfeiting one night plus $25 (otherwise it is just the $25).  What are you thinking?  I hate to be the party pooper but being holed up in the trailer all weekend doesn't sound like a great plan (especially since we are bringing guests!)

I was going too, but the group has gotten larger and my schedule has gotten busier, besides the cake I ordered will taste much better..trust me :p

We're going no matter what!!! the news I heard today said maybe Sat. the system may move faster than expected. also it maybe an on again off again thing too. The guy said we can cancel Whale watching with no penalty. if it's raining. there is also the science center we can go check out.  and there is all day Sunday too that maybe beautiful.

Murphy's law: if you cancel it will be a beautifaul weekend and you'll be sorry you did...but no pressure here

The forecast I heard this morning said rain thru Thursday, and then clouds, but no rain on Friday. Keep the faith!!

channel 2 just said now the rain won't be here tpo tomorrow and  chance of showers chance of showers and chance of showers over the weekend.  we will make the most of it anyway. I don't care I'm gettiing outta dodge
