Most planned. Some reservations made. Most reservations can't be made until January! Typical state parks in VT, NH and Mass., same private parks- Hermit Island and Beach Acres in Maine!

Now I know why you're the Camping Queen and I'm not Tracy!  :D

hmmmmmmmmm, let's see ... Hoping to buy a new-to-me PU in the spring.

Plan to camp with my parents in June and attend a big ole "family" reunion later that same month.  Will end the season in October at Forestville/Mystery Cave SP with 2 other families (annual tradition).

Other than that ... I have Christmas cards to get in the mail!  LOL

Assateague Island for Memorial Day and if my daughter makes the Nationals in her Fine Arts contest, a trip out to Denver, CO.  A trip to Cape Cod is in the works and we would love to go back to Fort Wilderness.

Camping plans are up in the air for next summer.

We had planned on going to Ohio, Missouri and Montana leaving the last week of June.

But, ds and his fiancee just told us that they are getting married on July 2.

Oh well, back to the drawing board.

We will be in Key Largo for spring break at the end of March, in Georgia for a long weekend in June, in Michigan for two weeks in July, in NC for a long weekend in August and hopefully we'll get in lots of weekends at our gorgeous state parks here in Virginia.

Can't wait to camp again!

Most of our plans for next year are in a state of flux. So far we have reservations at Doheny SB for a Dutch Oven Gathering (DOG) with the SoCal chapter of the IDOS. A local PBS station may come film it. In February over Pres. weekend we're going to Calico Ghost Town near Barstow.

1st weekend in April - Bristol Motor Speedway
2nd weekend in April - Martinsville Speedway
Last 10 days in May - Charlotte/Lowe's Motor Speedway
Last weekend in August - Bristol Motor Speedway
3rd weekend in October - Charlotte/Lowe's Motor Speedway
4th weekend in October - Martinsville Speedway (If vacation time permits, hope to combine these last two into one long trip.)

Do you see a pattern here? ;) LOL!!

And, if vacation time permits, another long weekend sometime in June or July for just camping, maybe down to the Smokies again!

Oh my. I am impressed with you guys.

Most of our trips are "planned" about two weeks ahead of time. We do have some trips that we get reservations for very early. But those are probably less than 5 in number.

What a coincidence, Kelly!  I'm planning a "family" reunion camping trip, too!  (at least I think I am).  We have plans to camp a few times with TPUC, beginning the 1st of April.  No reservations made yet, but several trips in the works mainly to various cg's in TN.

Sigh.... I have hopes but no plans.   Hoping for Colorado or Yosemite or someplace else big & grand.  But it's complicated by my DH & DD's plans to do RAGBRAI (week long bike ride across Iowa - very big deal) and DD's possible move to competitive gymnastics and the standard Girl Scout camp for a week.  Sigh... :(

If nothing else I expect several closer trips - here in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Moose,
When is the Dutch Oven at Doheny?  Can anyone attend?  We would like to be a participant....only on the sidelines....maybe a cheering section.  Love dutch ovens!

Also, have you camped before at Calico Ghost Town?  We went there once and had a blast.  Never camped there however.

Wow...that's amazing..all these plans..I'm one who plans to go on most of my trips a day or two before!  LOL    Our biggest plan is to actually GO camping more next year. Nothing has been done this year since mid August. With fixing up a house, selling a house, buying a house, my mother in law being ill and then passing away, having problems with the people buying our house for awhile..then finally moving...we've had a pretty intense few months.   Tuesday was the first time I'd even SEEN my PU since August when we dropped it off at the storage lot. We finally actually brought it HOME to our new (to us) house.  It is so exciting to be able to look out my window and actually see it now.  We plan on FINALLY winterizing this weekend...and I have a feeling I'll just have to sit in it and have a cup of coffee or two....  ahhhhh....I'm ready for my nice boring life again!
