Hit the local Target this week (okay, a coupla times:D ) and they have quite a bit of camping stuff on clearance! Everything from stoves to turkey fryers to lanterns to.... whatever!

I went yesterday and picked up the party size Coleman Roadtrip for $27.98 (reg $40) and set of Coleman family cookware for $9.98,(reg. $20) plus mantles for the lanterns, water carriers, etc.  I'm going to check out another Target today to see if they have anything else.

The gal at the checkout told me they weren't going to carry Coleman but I don't know how true that is.  There was also some greatland and other stuff marked down too.

So far loaded up on extra mantles for the lantern, a folding shovel, extra tent stakes for the tarps we set up when it rains, one of those folding aluminum tables (should of gotten 2 at 15.00 each)... had an extra stove in my hands but put it back down (we really don't need one) if it goes any lower I might not be able to help it tho.
They also had some nice chairs that we passed on too. If anyone needs a screen house or extra tent run there before they are gone, great prices!

I have been to 2 different Targets, each one has had something the other did not.

I to went to another Target and found the roadtrip grill for $19.98 which saved me another $8.  I also picked up 2 Greatland replacement globes for double mantle propane lanterns for $2.48.  I have a broken globe in one of my Coleman lanterns and this one fit perfectly, so now I have a spare.

I debated over another propane stove at that cheap price but held off for now.  I did scoop up some mantles, and I may go to another Target today.

HersheyGirl

I went to my Target store yesterday and there just wasn't much of anything on clearence.  I did get some lexan silverware, and a bowl.  I was so dissappointed. :(

OC Campers

Our Target had quite a bit on clearance too.  I picked up some unbreakable plastic serving bowls for $2.48 and a 30 degree Greatland sleeping bag for $11.88.  Will go visit other local Targets the end of the week

Hersheygirl,

I would try another Target if there are more nearby.  I went to 3 different Targets and one store didn't have hardly anything on clearance and the other 2 had different prices.  Not sure what the deal is but it seems like the stores are not all on the same page?

well this post cost me $95.
but some great buys! I got a bike rack (just saw it and needed one not on clearance) 2 vinyl tablecloths, bocce ball, horseshoes,
and the Coleman road trip fireplace grill. it's a bbq & fire pit w/the carry case (Lori I thiink yo have this one???)  My Target has a ton of the screened Gazebos and the Colman one with the removable shade panel (reg $99.99 now $24.98) they had some greatland gazebos for $12.48..I was very tempted but we want an easy up and I didn't see any there. they had eddie bauer gazebos reg $149.99 for $34.98. they had a few stoves and lanterns also and misc trinket stuff. it almost looks like they're not going to carry camping gear at all anymore. lots of bocce ball sets (no "regulation "weight I'm sure but from $18.99 to 4.74 who can go wrong. Horshoes and croquet the same price.

Thanks for posting..nothing better than buying stuff on SALE :D

Just Me

If we had a target it would be wonderful. I sat here reading your post and wishing it was me. All we have anymore is Wal-mart, hotels and every restaurant you can think of.

Last week Holly and I went to Target to check it out.

A lot of Coleman stuff on sale, but we didn't buy any of it.

However, we bought 13 cans of the yard fog stuff (not Yard Guard brand, but Repel, I think), for $2.50 a can or something like that. It is usually around 5-7 dollars a can. We bought all they had.

Glad to help spend your money!:D  Some of the stuff had been discounted even more this week.... got some compression sacks for sleeping bags, more mantles and some other stuff we didn't need! Good thing there's only one Target within a 50 mile radius of here!
