Quote from: griffsmomYes, we have the DVD in the Expy.  Good call, Dee.  I'll tuck that one away in case I end up needing it.  I think we'll be fine, tho.  Griffin just "reminded" me again at dinner that we have no hook ups, and I told him, that's right we're dry camping.  His reply?  "Oh no we're not!  We have a sink in the camper!!"  Hmmm...maybe I didn't get through to him as much as I thought I did.  Better re-the instruction manual that came with him. ;)

Hello again Griffs,
Goldbender here.  Remember Lake casitas rally? (bocce ball)  I havn't been to the rallies since we mostly dry camp now way out in the sticks whenever possible.  I have not been back here for over a year, until I just found out today that it don't cost anymore.  Whats been going on?  Are to so-cals pop upers planning any rallies this year.

Hey Glenn!  Nice to see you round these parts again!  Funny thing, I was driving up Bake around the Trabuco intersection the other day, and you came to mind.  I don't even know if that's near where you live!  Glad to hear that you're getting out with the camper.  Didn't you get one of the new Sequoias?  What places are you camping?  We just did some dry camping for the first time a few weeks ago.  Dave went and bought a generator--a Honda 2000Eui (or some sort of letters like that) and I'd like to do some more dry camping, if only to get our money's worth out of that generator! ;) :D

We have a few rallies going on this year--none are dry camping though.  There's Pismo again in June, Temecula in October, and Campland on the Bay in November to celebrate Dee4j's 40th b-day.  I think there is one site left at Pismo and one for Campland, and there are about 16 for Temecula.  NNC, the northern group, has a few rallies scheduled as well--we're going to the Yosemite one in early August.  OC Campers now lives up North in Rocklin, but she'll be at Pismo and Yosemite.  Check the club forums out for more info on the rallies and then come and camp with us again!  We'd love to see you again; after all you were one of the original crazies of this bunch. ;) I'll bring the bocce balls!

PS, if you still see Keith and Brenna, please say hi for us!

The "other guy" was J-One, aka Keith and Brenna. And don't forget Keith's dad, Ja-Ja, who inspired many campers, one of whom being Moose, to build some cool shelving units in their PUs. :)

Edited to add:  You know, it's scary how good my long-term memory is and how poor my short-term memory is.  I'm turning into my 93-year-old grandmother a little more everyday....
