Wow - they're done up there with the land so far... Now we just have to wait a few months to let the land dry out and then begin the next phase. I posted more pics on my webshots page.

Nice Pics.....Looks to be a good spot for Hunting....Hunting what though

Tracks do get bigger as they melt.  I don't know how fresh the tracks were to judge them.:eyecrazy:

Hey all!

BeerBelly - I agree with you... hunting what.  I have never seen deer type tracks that large.  I really don't think we have elk in the Catskills, but what else could it be besides a mutant huge award winning buck??  I am at a loss to be 100% honest.  That's why I took the pic with Dad's boot next to it.

Tracy - the tracks were fresh.  Dad found them and he kept telling me to come look.  I told him the same thing that they "probably were deer tracks that melted and appeared bigger".  He said "I don't think so" and when I finally went over I was like "okaaaaaay".  LOL!

I have a 30.06, but after seeing all the deer, bear, and God knows what else tracks up there, I am going to invest in a 12 gauge before camping there in the PU.  That's all I need is a bear knocking on the PU door.  I am sure the Sunbrella fabric won't keep him out.  lol
