UOTE=DK&3kids]Ok, I guess I could not keep it a secret forever. What can I say, my mother was into horses when she named me. I do go by my first name at work, it makes it easy when someone calls. One name is work related and the other is family and friends. :)

?????? Daniel M.[/QUOTE]

Does that mean your first name is really Mr. Ed or Black Beauty???  What can I say?  Those were the first two horse names that came to mind.

Sorry to hear that you and your family can't make it but we understand the tae kwon do commitment and we will be keeping our fingers crossed for Kyle and Ryan.  How long has it taken them to get to this level?  Pretty amazing.

So on the waiting list we have 1.  BootheBunche; 2. Banshees; and 3. lkw.

Please post here or email me if any of you are still interested.

We are so bummed....we can't make Campland!  It is our daughter's last soccer game...we've got the team party afterwards...why does AYSO plan soccer games on Veterans' Weekends?!

I know you will all have a wonderful time....as we are chugging pink lemonade at Chuck E. Cheese's!

When we lived down south, our daughters coach told us what AYSO stands for.
All Your Saturdays are Over.  After having 2 kids in soccer at once he was absolutely right.:eyecrazy: :)

Hi Jeanne,

The boys have been in tae kwon do for 3 years now. They are both very good, so it didn't take them long to get through the program. I don't think they've missed any minimum requirements along the way. Some people take twice that long, but Kyle and Ryan were into getting that black belt as fast as their instructor would allow.

They're my body guards now. When they pass their black belt tests they'll be registered in South Korea as "deadly weapons". They think that is pretty cool. ha ha ha.

Have fun without us guys...

Kevin's best friend Drew will be going for his 2nd level black belt soon...he's been a black belt for a while..

My 18 year old got his Black Belt in Taekwondo a couple of years ago.  My 60 year old father is going for his 3rd degree Black belt soon.  (Provided he does'nt break a hip or something)

I, too, had never heard that acrononym....but it is so true!!!  Logann is missing two games that I will still have to attend as the coach!  Bleck!  It is so hard to imprint on her the importance of commitment....when I myself would rather be partying with the Fish Squad that weekend!

I keep telling myself that the kids really need to do an organized activity.  It really help them learn about commitment and teaches them how to work together towards the ultimate "goal".  But man when the middle of November rolls around I am ready for the end of soccer.  I have the end of the season pizza party hilighted in yellow in my dayplanner:D .

I have to admit, I miss AYSO  Up here in the north there is no AYSO.  I guess it is a Southern California soccer club.  So far it is as well organized and would you believe the only thing you get with your sign up fee is a t-shirt.  You have to buy your shorts, jersey, socks and anything else that is required.

Kevin played Little league until last year..his decision as I would make him go and be committed..but with 2 practices and 2 games a week he would leave school directly to a game we would leave around  7 pm eat dinner THEN he could start his homework..he has his piano which he's been doing since he was 4 and it's once a week..

Jeanne - next time you talk to Campland ask them if I'm adding another night in the group sites for Thurs. do I pay them or do I pay you. I think I'm taking your site Thurs nite. the kids are off on Friday for Veteran's day and they have parents conferences all week so they get out early....if they are not doing much at school I may even go Wed.
