Got Snow?????

I'm sure a lot of you woke up to this, this morning. Will be fun tomorrow though. It's still coming down and with wind gusts up to 40 mph.  I'm sure some of the west coast and mountain area people are laughing at this small amount of snow; but for us mid-west and easteners this is a large amount.

HEY!  How'd you guys in Walled Lk get less snow than us? (hard to tell exactly how much from the pic, but it looks like less) I'm down near the Zoo and we had gotten 11"  already when I shoveled around 1. The poor dog had to leap & bounce around the yard just to get around.  
 
 At least it was light and fluffy for easier shoveling...not to good for making snowmen tho :frosty:

We had about 8" of the white stuff.  Ditto what Marcy said ~ easy to shovel, not so good for making snow-people!  :frosty: :frosty: :frosty: :frosty:

I envy you Jim!!  Darn AWD pretty much prevents joy-riding!  I miss my old Exploder on days like this!  Do a donut or two for me, eh?  :p

Only about an inch here so far.
 I had a 1972 Toyota Landcruiser (the smaller Jeep style). I took it on the river back in 1980 or so and got up to 70mph then turned the wheel a little and hit the ebrake. Was spinning round and round for probably 1/4 mile.
 
 That was real fun joyriding on the ice.

Not Bad. I woke up to  13 inches of snow and 3 foot drifts!! The ole snow blower got quite a workout this morning!!!

Somehow we missed the stuff.  It was all north & east of us - Minnesota, Wisconsin, illinois.  We got the wickedly strong winds though - gusts to 60+mph.  Last round we got about 15 inches though, so I can sympathize!

Today however, it's supposed to be 40 - go figure, yesterday it was in the 20s, tomorrow maybe 40 again, then back to 20s.  Might be messy with all this snow beginning to melt.....
