Quote from: AdamTracy, Can I give me a loop or section which will meet everyones satisfaction !

I just learned from my friend this campground is only 10 mintutes from our distribution center, so like week # 8 I will make plans to take some pictures if this is the agree'd location !
The electric pet loop would be the one we would want to look at.  What is "week # 8"?

Adam,   It sound like all of your problems are just related to old age. :p ;) :D

HEHEHE...Have you been talking to my wife ?

Tracy, Week # 8 is the last week in Feb I thinking that week or the following I will take a trip up to Hazleton.

Locust Lake sounds good to me too. Will have to leave early Sun since fall is soccer season and games are on Sunday. HR was easier since it's closer but I like going to new places.

Tracy....These are sites 51-75 correct ?  This looks like it should be a summer choice...based on the lake looks very refreshing !

Those are the sites.  We had the fall rally at Hickory Run 3 times and some people wanted to try a new location.:)

Hickory Run would still be good (IMO) if they cleaned the bathouse/showers at least ONE TIME during our stays there.  Each year it gets nastier and nastier.  I won't tell you how I know that they didn't clean it once during our last Rally there.  Otherwise, we really like HR.  Maybe if we got another camper with an inside shower... hmmmmm  :screwy:

Needless to say I have no vote since I bailed on the last fall rally of course it was @ the last mintue !  Hickory Run was our first state park trip and I also had no bathroom in the camper @ the time. I was really turned off by the whole bathroom situation too, in fact I banned Brandon from going in alone.  I had heard rumors in the past about SP bathrooms and after this experince belived them.  After that trip I relized that I would really enjoy my own camping experince much more with a camper that had a toilet/shower combo, it was also the only way I could ever talk Lisa into camping with the boys in the future.  :)

Here is a link to pictures of the electric pet loop and some electric sites at Locust Lake SP.  The title of the pictures goes like this  LLSP-which tells me Locust Lake State Park.  PE-Pet Electric, E-Electric, and hc-Handicap site.  The site number is the last part of the title. :)

Hello there,  I am new to the forum and for that matter new to popup camping. Just went out last month and finally gave up the tent life.  I was wondering if someone could tell me more about the rally, what's involved, etc....  Any info would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Hey there dademt!

Welcome to Pop Up Times and in particular the COTOC section! COTOC ("Campers of the Original Colonies") began a few years back from five families on the old PUT board that decided to get together and go camping... We "knew" each other from typing here, and after that weekend, a close family was born! Click here for some history/info: http://tlhdoc.tripod.com

If you'd like to be a member of COTOC, well guess what - you NOW ARE!! All we require is that you post here, and actually go camping with us now and then...

A lot of us simply post a trip that we're going on and before you know it, it turns into a little rally. We have a few scheduled so far for 2005. Browse around the COTOC section and see what interests you. If you'd like to see some pics of previous rallies, click on the webshots link under my profile, and also tlhdoc has some webshots pics under her profile.

Welcome aboard, and if you have any questions fire away. I hope to see you camping soon! Talk to you soon - copcarguy.

Thanks, I do appreciate that.  I think the first couple trips we are going to do will be local to our area here until we are sure we have what we need and know what we are doing.  I am planning taking the cub scouts to Belleplain SP and going on a second trip to boulder field with some friends from del.  Other then that, things are open, especially for the second half of summer so I am sure I will see you then.
