The things you find on the net when you have to much time on your hands :eyecrazy:
As some of you know I'm waiting patiently (or not so) to get a truck sometime next yr and a 5er the following yr....well..... I might not have to wait !
Found the strangest 5th wheel hitch that can attach to our van. It would take more than our humble E150 to make this work. I really can't vision seeing something like this going down the road! :yikes:

That's a weird one, but old times might remember the 5th wheel hitches that mounted on the roofs of large sedans back in the late 60's early 70's.
Folks in our extended camping family had one on a Pontiac Boneville. You could actually, after unpluging the light cable. turn the car around under the hitch and push the 5er onto a site.

When I first saw this I thought it would be impossible to back up, I thought the hitch thingy was also on a ball, and you would have two turning points...  but after seeing the movie, it appears that the hitch is a rigid attachment to the TV.  Pretty cool!  I wonder under sharp turning if the 5th wheel would smack the TV??

Maybe this is the answer to Kellys sag problem ;)

With offering factory demo discounts of $500 to $1,000 I would hate to see how much this thing really costs.

I remember the car top hitch. I hope this latest thing cost a bundle,I don't want to see a old cheep 36ft 5ther behind a mini-van spining front wheels tring to make a rt turn off the gravel road onto the hiway....BTW  When was the last time you saw a one wheel trailer?

One wheeler? Back before the snow fell and the folks put their motorcycles away. They are fairly common around here during the summer months with the motorcycle crowd.

Don't think it's for me, Marcy.  Thanks for thinking of me, though!!

One wheeled trailer?
summer 2003 somewhere in Nebraska when the bearings on the PU melted.  Followed a few days later by a 3-wheeled TV when the right rear wheel went flying off into the ditch.  Can you say "Wild Ride"?   (Meeting Popups4Rent made up for all the adventures!)

oh wait ~ you meant one-wheeled on purpose, didn't you?  :D
