Me ...You and the other 2 familes listed to bring food and Lori's friends..a few species of birds, some squirrels.

O/T I just got blind sided by DH (DD forgot something for "share Time" ...drama tears drama  sniff sniff..Dad falls for it everytime) I wished him Happy Birthday again and he told me I better go back to bed. :yikes: .did some strange cosmic event happen and an alien take over his mind :eyecrazy: "who are you and what did you do with my Husband"

TheViking

I have to work on that Friday and It will probably take 2 1/2 to 3 hours to get there so you all will be 3 sheets to the wind by the time we show up.

Quote from: Dee4jI just remember all the fun things :D Lori you must of left your computer on ..I just got home from work and it's 3:38 am ...you're not STILL up??
or are you just starting your day like Scott..

I'm just going to bed and people are up going to work :eyecrazy:
Actually, Dave was cruising the boards last night under my log in cookie.  When he went to bed, he turned off the monitor but left the computer on--we don't like to have to wait for the computer to start up in the morning before we can check all of our sites.  I think that makes us computer geeks....:J

That's when we're all just getting good! :sombraro:

Dave mentioned something about going up Thursday night after work.  We'll have to see if we're up for that--it is nice to have a full extra day.  I'll let you guys know if we end up dong that.

OC Campers

Brian may miss our hoopla, but Dee and I will be pulling up our camp chairs to watch them back in and set up!:D

That's one of the reasons why we always bring my mom now. We're not as likely to "let loose" and more likely to watch our words if she's there. :J Actually, I think we're getting better. Or maybe we're just more tired, I'm not really sure which. ;)

How funny ..I told Dan if  the sites were a little cheaper I would  pay for Thurs so  I could go setup so I won't have to Friday..There's alot of setup involved in backing in :yikes: and plugging it in...oh yeah I do have to put 2 beds down and an awning.

Brian I'll come over as you're setting up an drop subtle hints :Z  ...Lori make sure Mom's watching :D  (after I back it in :eyecrazy: )

well the last Lunch group is @ 12:40 I will have it all cooked by then. Another Mom said she' could get there around 12:30 and what could she do ..I said Cleanup :D ..so I should be outta there by 1:30 latest, shooting for more like 1pm  I hate sitting on the 91 fwy :swear:

one more week Yippeee!!

I think this Vail trip was a good Idea. It will give us a chance to meet a few people that are going to Pismo so it won't be like we don't know anyone. Then again, it could scare the crap out of Lori and Diedre that we will be at Pismo.  Especially since Scott said he is putting us next to none other than Dee4j.

Be afraid,  Be very afraid........

Also, I have to admit it was Lori and Diedre that talked me into going next weekend so if it's a good time i have them to thank.  If it's rainy, windy and miserable,  then it's their fault.

I crack myself up !!

Lori do you hear that..the poor guy has no clue...he'll probably tell Scott to change his site by the time the weekend's over :eyecrazy:

Chezways had to referee us last time   that was packing up..they missed the backing in :yikes: that's why I go myself get it done and he can show uo later and keep his mouth shut :J

TheViking

I think we both may be surprised then.  Maybe it will be a footrace to Scott to get our spots switched!!!   LOL

Trust me , we aren't exactly the Cleavers

Kristi already warned me not to break out with a certain hat that I will wear at campouts.  She said she will pretend she doesn't know me.

Actually, these mini-rallies are nicer for getting to know each other. Sometimes, there are just so many people at the bigger rallies, that you end up not getting to meet even half of them!

We're not afraid.  We'll have our posse with us at Pismo. ;)

QuoteBetter get used to it now.  Camping with SCCampers means that more likely than not, it'll be windy, rainy and miserable. I don't know why it turns out that way, but it does.  Apparently, someone keeps forgetting to make the required sacrifices to the camping gods.  But we don't let that stop us from having a good time.  We just put up our easy-ups, pull on a rain poncho, and have another beer or glass of wine (or Baileys and coffee if the Ha-Has are assembled) while we all huddle under the easy ups and camper awnings eating and laughing. We figure camping in the rain is still better than not camping at all.

QuoteI crack myself up !!
You crack us up too.  I think that's why we already like you and Kristi. :D

I think that may be one of the reasons we're doing better with our setting up the camper.  Last year, with my mom's heart attack and bypass surgery, I ran out of vacation early in the year.  So when we would go camping, Dave would drive to the cg by himself in the morning and set up the camper while I finished work, picked up Griffin, and then drove to the campsite in the evening.  It worked really well as far as I was concerned--it's nice to pull up to a camper already set up (inside and out!), be handed a glass of wine, and then asked what pizza place did I want to go to for dinner?  Despite the...uh...passion and energy we both bring to the relationship, Dave's definitely a keeper. :)
