I just saw your quilts and they are breathtaking!! I have wanted to get into quilting lately.  My DH bought me an embroidery machine for my April Birthday this year and I've been having a blast, but want to start something else.  Maybe at Pismo you can give me some tips on quilting.

Thanks for the kind words Estelle! I have a combo embroidery/sewing machine as well and there are some really cool things you can do with those.  I would be happy to share quilting tips with you, although it may be a case of the blind leading the blind.  I am completely self-taught, but the good news is that if I can do it, anyone can do it.  I equate following a quilting pattern to cooking.  If you can follow a recipe, you can quilt just about anything.
