I have a seam that is pulling apart. Have any of you had this problem and how did you fix it. I.E. type of thread and size of needle.  The holes are not torn.  Just the thread must have broken and it is unraveling.  The little rivot in the corner has come apart which caused the stress that made the seam to split.

call starcraft first , they might tell you how to fit it. if not you can get a canvas needle hook, and thread at a marine shop, for sail boats and a re-enforcement patch that glues on with fabric glue

Thanks Dee.  I have found an awl (never used one) to fix it.  I can get one at Ace Hardware with waxed thread.

I'm going tomorrow to get it. Our first trip of the year is April 15th so I need to fix it quick.  It is 75 here today and I have the camping fever.  Opened the PU (no mice...wheeeew) and did the spring cleaning and just sat in it and took it all in.

The site you mentioned looks interesting.  I'm going to have to explore it further.:)

how did it go?

Actually, I couldn't find and awl in our area.  I must have went to 6 or seven stores.  I'm going to go online and get one.  So, I did it with a needle and heavy thread and it worked out just fine for a temporary fix.  After I get the awl I can do it properly for a tighter sew.  It did get us through our camping trip last weekend which turned out to be a glorious weekend.  Highs in the 70s.  This weekend is a different story though.  Winter storm warning still going on with several inches of snow on the ground already.  Mother nature is being a B**** this year.
