Anyone using any credit cards with rewards for gasoline purchases? What are the limitaions on it and what is the % reward?

I had a Chase/Perfect card which gave me 6% off all gas purchases for the first 90 days then 3% off forever. I told them all purchases on this card would be for gas only and and they credited every purchase that way.

I received an offer for a Citi card with 5% off and cancelled my Chase Card. The Citi card requires you to use a major fuel dealer such as Mobil or one of the others with a primary business of fuel sales. I have not received this discount very often because the bigger companies seem to be higher priced around here.

Back to the Chase/Perfect card again, this is good for all fuel purchases at any station.

I saved a bundle on the initial 90 period with the Chase because we went from ME to FL and back towing our hybrid.

I dedicate the card for fuel only and pay it off before I get charged any interest. Three percent is starting to add up to quite a bit these days.

I have a AAA visa card that started out with a 5% fuel credit.  Now I think it is on everything I purchase.  Not exactly sure on the  percentage amount now.  All I know is I get a credit at the end of the month.  This card is just for fuel purchases also.  That way I make sure it is paid off every month.  Also, if I want it only has a 7.9% interest rate too.
