Location of Water Pump in 2002 Utah CP

Hi... we just sold our 2002 Sun Valley and bought a 2002 Utah CP.  Took our first trip out this past weekend and love it... except for one thing.  The water pump is very loud!  It sounds like the thing is mounted on a guitar soundboard and it just resonates like no ones business.  I'm thinking of putting in an accumulator, but want to get to the pump and perhaps mount it on some rubber grommets and make sure the hoses aren't rattling against anything.  Only trouble is, I'm not sure where the pump is!  It sounds like it might be under the slide-out.  Anyone know where it is and how to access it?

It is located under the slide out..Remove the  screws that are in the top side of the angle floor trim and you will be able to remove the panel which covers the space under the dinette slide out.The water connections for the outside shower are located there also,if you have one.........Mounting the pump on rubber grommets will dampen some of the noise............

So, would this be the vertical piece of trim (about 6" tall) on the inside edge of the dinette, between the slide-out floor and the main floor of the camper?  Sorry, ours is closed up right now and it's raining... can't go look at it for a couple of days.

The vertical 6" piece is the one. After removing the screws from the top moulding, the panel can be pulled away from the edge of the dinette floor.........

Thanks.  I'll dig into it next time we pop it up.  Must be the locations of the pump, because the Sun Valley was a lot quieter.  I'll probably go ahead and get an accumulator to add to the system too.  I understand they really help with the noise level.  Also, I have more pulsing in the water stream on this one than I did on the Sun Valley.  Sounds like an easy fix.

I have never had a pulsing water problem with our 01 Niagara... Maybe it's a different pump.........

Our 2002 Utah makes the same loud noise when running the pump. The sound actually sounds like it's coming from under the sink but on the outside wall. Haven't been able to isolate the noise. Guess I'll expose the pump, turn it on and see what I can figure out by holding it, restraining, remounting, etc...

Let us know what happens with the Pump Mods...Ours is so very loud too.  We want to do something about the noise and thought about replacing the pump.  But it the mods work, spend the $$ on other things.

Yeah - our Niagara had that loud vibrating resonating noise.

Finally figured it out, and made it GO AWAY (with a small velcro strap).

It was coming from under the sink.  Turns out, it was the 3/8" (or is it 1/4) plastic tubing that went to the water filter.  The pump was vibrating it, and it was bouncing against the wood floor/wall of the cabinet under the sink.

Velcro'd it to some other pipes.  Instant silence.  Ahhh....
