I've got a 2003.5 Sun Valley with the Alumi-tite roof. While camping last weekend, as we were setting up in hte rain, we noticed there was water dripping through the center of one of the pop rivets that holds up the vanity-mate. the rivet does not go all the way through the roof. We also noticed that although the rain continued the water dripping through the hole eventually stopped ???

I assumed water got into the interior of the roof through one of the seams or the Yakima rails.

I called the dealer yesterday. He says the water probably got in through one of the seams. He said he will reseal all the seams, which is great. But, how do I know there isn't still some water trapped inside the interior of my roof that will do some additional dmage over time ?

Anyone had this happen ?

Thanks !!

Sorry to hear about your roof Zee :swear: :%

You could drill lots of holes on the underside of the roof to allow drainage. :J
BUT seriously - did you ask the dealer that is going to fix the seams?

Hey, pardner, how ya doin ?

I didn't ask him yestderday when I discussed teh rpoblem, because it didn't occur to me until after I hung up  :p . I will ask him when I call to confirm the date for getting it repaired. Trying to see if anyone else has had this experience...

Thanks.

(Oh, and at least I didn't soak my dinette cushins, like someone I know  ;)
