Howdy,

Ok here is the problem.  A guest used the toilet in my niagara, and didn't open the "gate".  They are tin can folks who have fancy toilets you leave closed til you flush. THe weight of their... usage, seems to have disconnected the crank in the cassette that opens.  It is now stuck half way open.

There are six screws on the top of the casssette.  I was wondering if I can undo these and fix the problem.

Any body have this happen before?

Can you remove the cassette?  You are not supposed to be able to remove the cassette with the flap open.  If you can remove it, you can remove the screws and see if the flapper is bent, busted, etc.  You can get replacement parts for the cassette from a dealer.:)
