In the effort to conserve power, I have done the exterior porch light conversion to LED lighting and was pleased.  I have thought that the exterior light did not need to be so bright and like to LED conversion as an exterior "night light" in order to avoid injury entering and exiting during the night.
My next step in power conservation will be with my interior lights.  I plan to replace the #1156 bulbs (2.1A, 32 candle power) in my Bayside with either #1141 bulbs (1.44A, 21 CP) or #1093 bulbs (1.19A, 15 CP) on one side of the dual bulb fixture and then an LED from SuperBrightLEDs on the other side of the dual bulb fixture.  Others have used the 24 bulb LED light (.083A), but I thought I would go with the 36 bulb LED light (.123A).

My major objective is power conservation but I still dont want to camp in a cave.  Any thought from others about these interior lights?  I will also be relying on my Coleman lanterns for bright lighting in specific areas as needed.

I also have replaced my patio light and one bulb in each light fixture with LED bulbs.  It does save power.:)

Is it hard to change?  Where can I check out the LED lights you used.  Sounds like a great idea.  I am curious.

You can find some of the information HERE.

I stole the idea from Tim5055, but instead of using the Led board with 24 bulbs, I used the 36 bulb board.  Slightly higher amp draw, but still almost 1/10 of the incandescent and somewhat wider and brighter LED light.

I have a picture of the regular bulb and the LED bulb on in my webshots account.:)
