Although, interestingly enough, we don't have a drying rack.  Hmmmm......;)

I looked at different Targets...No good drying racks.  I looked at Target.com and found a wonderful one.  Chrome, like the wooden one, but sturdier.  I love the drying racks.  You can put so much on them, and when it's cooler, we put ours in front of the heater to dry things faster.  Last year when we were in Placerville, it rained most of the time.  Needless to say, we had wet clothes.  The drying rack in front of the heater worked out so well.

What?  Not go by Lori's site to see what she has and I don't???:Z  Like that is going to happen.  Now I can't wait.  I think I'll visit hers first.....:p

Quote from: tlhdocYou can put some small screws with round eyes into the bottom of the bunkends.  Make sure they don't go through the wood and into the mattress or hang down to low and catch when you push the bunk in.  Then run close line or bungy cord through the eyes and you have a clothesline under the bunkend and out of the rain.:)

We often hook towels and bathing suits to the awning edges and the rafter poles.  You run a clothes line from the PU to the picnic table.:)

what an awesome idea

I'm gonna try to do my best to keep Kristi away from Lori's site at Pismo. LOL

We have a fold up wooden rack for drying clothes.  I wish it was sturdier and less prone to falling over, but it's better than nothing.

As for storing clothes, I put all the clothes into a big laundry bag, my daughters use the drawer under the couch for their clothes & my DH & I use a big rubbermaid bin that is under one of the dinette seats.  We empty the clean clothes into our drawer or bin & then the laundry bag becomes the dirty laundry bag to haul it back home, that way we don't have to find room for another duffel bag or suitcase in the camper or car.  I do bring another laundry bag to tote home any clean clothes separately, but those don't really take up any room.

Enjoy!

Quote from: EstoneThank you everyone for your replies. Trina: Where can you buy a pop-up hamper? I've tried to go to Pop Up Gizmos, but I couldn't seem to find a variety of gizmo's. Maybe I couldn't maneuver around the site very well.:(

I am also looking for a folding trash can. They fold down to look almost like a hula hoop. Any ideas where to find those?

Thanks,

Estelle
Estelle -- I was at Big Lots this morning and they had the folding laundry hamper for $1.49!!!!  They had drying racks too, but I didn't really look at them.  The summer dishes at places likes Big Lots are perfect for the camper.  They're fun, inexpensive and easy to identify what's yours in a group setting.

I'm on my way to Big Lots!!:-()   Thanks for the tip.

Hey Sharon:  I like the idea of putting a rubbermaid bin under the seats.  We are in the process of pulling out our trailer.  I'm going to Newport Dunes this weekend with 3 of my friends.  (Newport Beach)  I'm going to look and see if we can fit any bins under our seats.  Awesome idea.  Thanks.  :W

What a GREAT time we had.  It was gorgeous up there.  You're lucky to live close-by.  Especially had fun on Balboa Island.  Of course, I received many dirty looks when I had to drive the Suburban around!:yikes:
