what usually happens is someone makes camping reservations and posts it on the board when and where and others just happen to join in. or someone throws out a suggestion of a place and date and if enough respond someone will volunteer to be wagonmaster and call the campground and get a group reservation and collects the $$$

if you plan it......they will camp :tent:

I was searching Reserve America for a possible group site for a summer rally and found an opening at Canyon Point for the Fourth of July weekend. I put a hold on a reservation for the Large Group (LG) site there for three nights, July 1-4. It was the last available site in the campground for that weekend. There are no hook-ups at that site, but it is a beautiful campground with lots of pine trees and nearby lakes. Here is the link with campground information

Give me some feedback on what you think about the name and also how many people might be interested in getting together for a "4th on the Rim Rally at Canyon Point".

David was kind enough to reserve for the above nights. Let us know what you think and if you would be able to attend. We are defintely looking forward to our last big get away for the summer. Let us know when you are heading to Show Low maybe we can meet up for dinner somewhere. Yes we do still have the property. We plan on going up sometime in late June to check things out. It has been awhile since we have been up there.
Today, it is starting to heat up here so we may go up sooner than that.
DD is out of school on Wed. and we will be off to San Clemente CA for one week the first week of June. Can't wait. If you go to Show Low this summer drop us a line and maybe we can meet up. Take care.

The 4th of July Rally is still on for Canyon Point Campground, and there is plenty of room. The cost will be $20 per night ($60 for the three day weekend). So far we have 4 probable families and are still looking for more.
