Write off?  Did someone say write-off???  How exactly does that work?  I REALLY want to upgrade.  I really want a shower inside!  Like everyone else, we love the fact that we can store our PU in the garage though and I can easily tow it by myself.  On the flip side, I would love to get ONE car inside my 3-car garage!:eyecrazy:

When I got my Rockwood I chose to finance it through a HELOC.  The interest rate was lower & I still got the tax write-off.  Didn't matter if it had a bathroom or not (which it does -- inside a 10' box!).  I, too, have storage issues, and I also want to be able to handle every aspect of hooking up, set-up, & towing by myself.  Don't regret my decision at all.

from what I understand if your PU is fully self contained meaning you can sleep, eat, bath in it, it's considered a second home which you can write-off the intrest on your taxes.
