I too started paying bills on-line about 6-9 months ago and love it.  I save money on stamps, don't have to worry about miss addressing envelopes or better yet, forget to put the check in the envelop.  When I'm going into sensitive areas in my computer, I worry about hackers who are attempting to get personal info.  We have all the security goodies and have had our computer taken over and we couldn't use out computer.   I went next door and changed all codes on my neighbor's computer.

Hi Kim,

Sorry for the lack of responses lately. I'm sorry to say I am going to have to back out of the KOA camp out in Aug..

The family had vacation plans to go to Cancun this week but "Emily" has caused all sorts of problems with our travel plans. So right now I'm trying to scramble to save my airline tickets and see what other choices I may have for hotels. In short, Emily is causing problems in the pocket book and calendar....

I will try and make some other outings and I
m sure i'll see most of you at Vail in Oct... Have lots of fun and see you all soon.

Sorry to hear about you vacation dilema.  I was on a Mexican cruise in 1990 when Hurricane Trudy was coming around.  We spent the whole trip trying to get out its way.  We only made 1 of our stops and had to make an unplanned stop because cruise guests were getting antsy and wanted to get off the boat.  We ended  up going to Pueta Vareta (sp) & Mazatlan (sp).  We got up early in the morning to go to Cabo and they told us to get out our cameras because that's as close to it as we're going to get.  All the docks were under water.  The whole trip was rough and ALOT of people on the boat got sea sick, not me, I liked it.   So, I know all about trips getting messed up because of weather.

I hope things work out for you

Well guys, looks like it's only going to be the 3 of us.  I'm turning in all the other sites this Sat so if anyone else wants to join us please let me know.

Quote from: kimrb266We went camping this weekend with the Hardee's at San Diego Metro KOA and enjoyed the stay. We didn't know what to expect and was impressed with the facility. While there, they arranged an ice cream social, water balloon toss, pancake breakfast, bouncy room and a tractor drawn hayride. The facility has a pool/hot tub, clean bathrooms/showers, playground, game room and laundry facility. Our kids had a Blast.

The campground is located approx 25 min South of San Diego Zoo & Sea World. DH and I thought our location would be great for a Rally because the sights suround a grassy area and would be great for potlucks & for kids' play.

When talking to the KOA office they stated that they had the following dates available: 9/16-17 & 8/26/27 in the location we stayed (although they said that we may move us but would try to accomodate). How are these dates for you guys. They told me that things are booking up fast and if I were to book a Rally, I should make plans now.

Here's some info: Full hookups will be $40.95/night for 5-10 sites (regularly $49/night) & $39.95/night for 11 or more.

If you'd like to look at the facility please go to www.sandiegokoa.com - go to our facilities - site map for site location.
Sorry, there's bad news.  Since we didn't fill 5 sites, the price is now $49 +10% tax = $53.90/night.  This will be an additional $16 for the trip ($8 per nite).

Please contact me within the next couple days and let me know if you are still in.  If you decide to cancel, let me know and I will refund any money given to me.

Thanks

Hi, Kim.  I am sorry, but we have to cancel.  My grandma is turning 93 this month, and my mom just decided this weekend she wants to throw her a party.  I told her I had plans, and that didn't go over well.  And, to tell you the truth, we really should be there.  My grandma keeps saying she isn't going to make it to her 93rd...although she is healthy...but it scares me because sometimes people know when their time is up.  I pray my grandma is just overreacting to her birthday coming up.  Again, I am sorry---but, I need to be there for my grandma.

It looks like we won't be camping until Vail Lake in October now!
