We love the Starcraft travelstar hybrids, especially the 21SB model. Not sure I like the new fabric for 2006, though. Too much beige to show dirt and spills. I know, I know..truly spoken like the mother of a 4 y/o boy....

The only other thing that we wished Starcraft would change would be to please, please, please (!!!!!) increase the interior height by *just* 2 inches and to adapt the a/c unit to be flush with the ceiling like it is in the Aruba models. DH is 6'5" and whacks his head everytime we look at the 21SB. If the front bunk was lengthened to 80"--that would just be icing on the cake...:)

I'm only 6'1", and find the 76" (6'4") bunks too tiny.  So far, the only hybrid I've found with realistic-sized bunks are the Rockwoods (80")...

We are in the process of working with Starcraft on the A/C being a flush model (Ducted A/C) We just got them talked into making the Antigua XL with Ducted A/C and talk at the last Dealer Council meeting is looking at the expandable also. The main problem with doing this is the weight of the unit also will increase.

It's nice to hear that Starcraft is so open to working with its dealers and customers.  These are pretty light trailers, (the 21SB tops out at 5,000 lbs--comparable to a PU) so adding a bit more weight probably wouldn't be a big deal to consumers.  Starcraft could even keep the a/c the way it is now if they would just raise the interior height by 2 inches!!!! :)

We also love our Starcraft. I have an additional request that could be considered. PLEASE ADD SOME DRAWERS in the kitchen and bathroom, like the Kiwi!!!! Our current hybred doesn't have any drawers. The only place to put cooking utensils is in the pull out tub under the sink. No place for the silverware so I have one of those carriers that are sectioned off (like you use for a pick-nick) and put my silverware in that. I put it next to the refrigerator on the small shelf next to the slid out. I put that rubber non-slip stuff under it so it doesn't end up on the floor. It seems to travel pretty well. Another wish would be to have the shelves in the lower cabinets slid out. It would make it so much easier to get to the pots and pans and other stuff without getting on your knees. Of course, none of the trailers or hybreds have those, but it would certainly be a nice addition.

Hi Joan!

The 23RSB is our other favorite Starcraft, in addition to the 21SB.  My DH really likes the slide-out stargazer couch.  But what made me prefer the 21SB is that it has an additional drawer under the sink that was removed and boarded up on the 23RSB.  Doesn't really make sense since the two floorplans are virtually the same, with the exception of the rear bunk on the 21SB.    :)
