I'm about to order a Coleman Mach III P.S. air conditioner. Do you know if the heat strip (offered as an option) provide enough heat to make it worthwhile?

I wish we had not waited 3 years to put ours in.... It is often called a chill chaser because below 45 degrees or so, it wont offer much heat.....but as we are in FL, our winter nights are usually suitable for one and it has come in plenty handy.  You will still need add. heat source on those cold nights as the heat strip outflow is really just slightly warm.... have fun

Yes you can get heat and yes I would get it.  I have the heat with the Carrier Air V and a friend of mine added heat to her Coleman AC last year.  She also loves it.:)

Theyn are wonderful!!!

For those mornings that it is a little to cool to be comfortable but too warm to run the furnace.

I'm happy we got ours!
