Made this recipe this past weekend. I used a Lodge 12" Deep Dutch Oven.

*Package of Chicken Thighs
*Celery
*Sweet Potatoe
*Onions
*Carrots
*Whole Garlic
*Olive Oil
*Salt & Pepper and other spices of your choice
*One bottle of Amber Bock Beer

Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of the DO and coat with olive oil. Seaon with your choice of spices. Cut up your vegetables whatever amount suits you, and drizzle with olive oil and season to taste. Pour in your bottle of beer. Ok....you can take a swig or two.

Pre heat 28 to 30 large coals. Place 10 to 12 coals on the botton of the cooking area and 18 to 20 coals on the top of the DO lid. Rotate as you are suppose to every 15 minutes with the pot going counter clockwise and the lid going clockwise. Remove from the heat between one and one half hours and one hour and three quarter hours of cooking. The chicken should fall off of the bone and the vegetables will be nice and tender.

I think that you will find it really good. Enjoy.

Later. The Very Old Dog :)
