The accordian hose on our sink drain is always cracking, tearing, leaking. Does anyone have a permanant fix for this problem?

CAPEd CODger

I never had any problems with my drain line execept the slowness that it had 'till I made the vent pipe mod and shortened the hose.

I would suggest trying a like-sized piece of clear plastic tubing, as long as you can ake sure that it won't be prone to flatten out or get a major kink in it.

I think my old Valley Forge had something like that. The 'Cod had the ribbed tubing.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info on both problems. The ribbed tubing has been a pain ever since we had the trailer. I'll look for another type of tubing I suppose.

The repair is dependent weather you have a fold over galley or a swing level galley. Both require different flexability requirements for the drain line.

I have the fold over galley. Any suggestions?

I used 3/4" PEX line on my Palomino with a fold over galley. I had to keep trimming the line until the proper length was achieved from the drain to the outlet so it wouldn't direct it's self up hill. But it didn't kink, crack or leak.

 Hope this helps.
