I have an 02 coleman Santa Fe, and my 7 way plug keeps having issues.  If I haven't used it in a month or two, I loose my lights and brake lights and I have to wiggle the prongs for them to make a connection.  Is there anything that I can put on the connecters to make sure I have a better connection?

Thanks,
Steve

We usually use our trailer at least once a month and I seem to have the same problem. It's usually the right turn signal that doesn't work so I wiggle it and it works. Not sure what the fix is though.

Clean it really well, scrape and scratch and clean. Then put some dielectric grease into both sides, plug it in, pull it out, a few times. No more problems, ever. Keep it greased and no corrosion.

In the July/August issue of Family Handyman there is an article on trouble shooting trailer lights.  Says what Mtncamper said, but with some photos.

I purchased a cover for the trailer's plug at Wal-Mart.  No problems since I have been using it.  You need to scrape all of the green corrosion off of the plug for a good connection.:)
