I am a newbie when it comes to tent trailers. The lights and the tape deck work but none of the electric outlets work. I have checked the fuse and the 2 breakers and they seem to be fine. Where should I look next? I appreciate any help with this one.

How about the re-set button for the GFI (ground fault interupter) on one of thos outlets ... think one might have been tripped (which is interlinked to them all) and now none of them work ... have your tried re-setting?

Are you plugged in to 120volt power or are you trying with only the battery?

I was trying with only the battery.  It works when plugged into a power supply.  Do the outlets not work with just the battery?

Nope, only when plugged into shore power.

The outlets only work when you are plugged in to 120 VAC.  The converter converts 120VAC to 12VDC.  While there are units to convert 12VDC to 120VAC (called inverters) they will suck your battery dry in short order.

By the way, the converter will keep a charged battery charged.  It will not work very well as a charger.  You need a real charger to fully charge your battery.  Look for one that works with deep cycle and marine batteries as opposed to automotive batteries.
