Expandable/Hybrid What's the difference

I suspect this is a case of tomato and tomahto.  Is there a difference?

They are the same thing...

There might be some (not me) that would say that an expandable is like a Coleman Caravan or some of the KZ Frontiers, that have the "solid wall" expansion, and the hybrid actually has canvas walls.

But, essentially, they are the same.
