Simplest (and smartest $$ wise) is to buy a 24-volt cordless drill.  Several places online sell adapter "chucks" for various brands of popups.  Then, simply use the drill to "crank" your camper up and down.

24-volts should be enough.  Perhaps even 18-v.  Added advantage is you can also use the drill for raising and lowering the stabilizers... and even a BAL leveller.

Much smarter than $500-ish for a power lift kit.

LARRYB you can get the type of lift you are looking for from your Rockwood dealer. you can also order them from Carefree of Colorado for around $220. thay are a breeze to put on.
as for the drill jaz,it didnt work for me. tryed Craftsman 24v it had 550 on tork an would not lift my 10ft roof with air. also tryied the famous Dewalt 18v still no luck.
the lift from COC  works like a charm. no trouble at all.

good luck

The DeWalt 987 18 volt drill didn't work for me either. Only lifted the roof about 6 inches and the drill was smokin'.   I too have been thinking about adding a power lift to the camper.  Let us know what you do and if you do add the lift, how it works.  Good luck.
