Not sure if you have left yet or when you are leaving but when we go to Panama City, We stay at St. Andrews State Park. We have tent camped there 3 times and used our pop-up twice and love it. They have elec and water but no sewage hookups. There are 2 dump stations though. The bath house near sites 100 are air condition and have washers and dryers. Not sure if the others are setup like this yet, I know they were working on them last year but not sure. They had fans and vent in them before and they stayed cool but I know they were going to redo them. The park sits on the waterway by Captain Andrews and you get to see the boats coming and going and Shell Island is right across from it. They have a electric key pad to get in and out while you are there, so people can't just come in when they want, which is good. [:)] They have a pier, gator lake, bird santc., and a nice beach area with jetties to snorkle or fish. Hope this helps.

BTW: If you want to shell hunt and look for sand dollars, there is a place to do so near Mexico Beach. When you go toward Mexico Beach, right at the end of Tyndal Air Force Base before you go into Mexico Beach there will be an access road on your right. It is a gravel/sand road that will go back about a mile and a half to two miles to a parking area. Public is allowed to go there but they do close at sunset. Go to the water and walk to your right down the beach and you'll see hundred of shells and sand dollars. If you snorkel, you can find more in the water.
