Indian Hill Ranch Sept 9th-11th

Ok, TheViking and Dee4j have secured Sites 2 & 3 in the "Behind the Gate" area at Indian Hill Ranch for the weekend of Sept. 9th-11th. If anyone else wants to join us just give them a call to reserve a spot. It's real easy, no deposit, no credit card number, just tell them when you will be there. There are only 12 spaces in our area, all with Elec. and water. Site #4 has 2 power poles and a 40' x 40' concrete slab. Go to their website for phone # and info. Get directions from them as to how to get there, Mapquest and Yahoo Maps will have you guessing.

This will be a "Fish Squad" weekend.

Oh!  We would love to go...but, that is the first weekend of soccer games (I coach our 6 year-old daughter's team).  PLUS, that same 6-year-old is missing that first game as she and Brandon are heading down to Imperial Beach to Surf Camp--an Adventure Princess camping weekend (their first for the new school year--Brandon is the Navigator this year-the leader).

It is really a bummer....I had thought of trying to set a trip up that same weekend (until I just got all the schedules this week).  September 11th is Brandon's 40th birthday!

The Fish Squad can celebrate in his honor, as he won't get to celebrate it probably until the following weekend.  Have fun!

Hey Brian,
  We have an idea that we might want to go also. Trina might have to work but it's too early to tell. And since school has not started yet we don't know if Theresa will have any games for volleyball for school.
  But we want to go so it just might be me and Theresa. What sites do you recomend? Also how was the bug problem up there at night and being right on the lake? Alot of west nile cases are ocurring here in kern county.

Hey guys,
     
 We'll have an answer for you in the next few days. We are home and kind of settled, but are not sure if we can swing another trip so soon money-wise. It doesn't help that we got our new hybrid today!!!!:D
     
     Here's the link with pics. We found a GREAT deal on a gently used Jayco Kiwi 23BH (I think it's BH). It's being prepped for us and we are also waiting for them to order a replacement table so that may make it not ready in time. Now with two RV payments...we may have to wait to camp until we sell our Viking! (or Temecula...whichever comes first!)

As long as it is cool enough to not have to turn on the A/C(Which it should be) I see no problem at all with power.

I don't know in Lancaster..but it gets pretty hot here in Sept..maybe we can alternate A/c usage...

OKAY, OKAY!!!! TWIST our arms! I couldn't reach a human on the phone, so I left a voice message and sent an email requesting site #4 "behind the gate" for the weekend.
 
 Assuming that we get the reservation, the trailer is here...which it should be and that we have the proper hitch attached by then, we'll be there with bells on! How could we resist you and think of all the fun we will have teasing Dan about turning 39 that Friday!!!
 
 So, if we come, do you promise to explain the fish squad? We are LOST on what that is! It's what we get for going away for so long!
 
  P.S.  Dee - you are thoughtful to see if we'd both fit on your site.  We will BOTH need a/c if it is hot though!:eyecrazy:
 
 P.P.S.  - Brian and Kristi can you adopt Mackenzie as your child so we don't have to pay for extra person that weekend?
