Quote from: DK&3kidsOKAY, OKAY!!!! TWIST our arms! I couldn't reach a human on the phone, so I left a voice message and sent an email requesting site #4 "behind the gate" for the weekend.

Assuming that we get the reservation, the trailer is here...which it should be and that we have the proper hitch attached by then, we'll be there with bells on! How could we resist you and think of all the fun we will have teasing Dan about turning 39 that Friday!!!

So, if we come, do you promise to explain the fish squad? We are LOST on what that is! It's what we get for going away for so long!

P.S.  Dee - you are thoughtful to see if we'd both fit on your site.  We will BOTH need a/c if it is hot though!:eyecrazy:

P.P.S.  - Brian and Kristi can you adopt Mackenzie as your child so we don't have to pay for extra person that weekend?

Yeah I knew if I kept twisting...you'd give in :p

Works every time baby!

TheViking

Of course we can adopt MacKenzie for the weekend, just remember to take her with you when you leave....Ashlee is enough to handle!  LOL

Seriously, you won't have to worry about it.  We never even saw anyone from the place the whole time we were there. You get an envelope from inside, take out the key to the gate, put your money in in the envelope, and drop it in a pipe. Bring fishing poles !!!!!  We will set up a meeting place for you and Dee for when you guys get up this way and we can caravan to the place.  It will be alot easier since we know how to get there.  We are so glad you guys can make it.  Hope you have your new toy too.

I hope we have ours !!!   Long story.

TheViking

Quote from: Dee4jI don't know in Lancaster..but it gets pretty hot here in Sept..maybe we can alternate A/c usage...

Trying to find a way for Dan & Kristi to go....besides all the kids will be happy they get along so well

Just checked the temps in Tehachapi- highs are in the low 80's and lows in the mid 50's.   Make sure you bring jackets- we had to go into town last time to buy sweatshirts. It gets chilly at night-perfect for Dee's campfire.

Dee4j

ooh I guess I need to get some firewood delivered :D

don't know if we can meet at the same time..not sure what time we are leaving yet..I do have a GPS just don't know how to work it :eyecrazy:

My Dan had a wee bit too much wine on our last leg of the journey (okay...me too) and he built what we call a "Dee Fire".  He was so proud!!!

I agree too about the meeting place - we will leave here about 4PM in a perfect world, but will cut through the mountains differently than Dee because of our starting point.  As long as we have your cell Brian, I'm not worried.  PLUS, unless we get our new tow vehicle, we are going to be SLLLOOOW!

well at least it was wine and not Whine ;)  ..Dan you (sniff sniff) make me proud man!!! (sniff)
that must be the Fire in the pics you sent me...I noticed it right off

Nothing better than family, friends, a cocktail and a campfire :!  hmmm    ya we'll just leave it at that :Z

I think we are planning leaving around 1:00 Dan needs to work and I think kids have testing to evaluate for the "bridging" program I have Brian's cell already  I will e-mail you mine...

TheViking

Everything seems to be falling into place. Now if we get our TT back by the time we go, everything will be perfect. We still can't believe it will take Richardson's 3 weeks to install a new awning.

I better find that tent we had.................

P.S.-  Kristi, I sent you our cell numbers.

TheViking

Ok, here is a little tour for you...If you go to my webshots page and open the folder for Indian Hill Ranch I can show you guys your sites.

Dan & Kristi- Look at the photo labeled "Seclusion" That is your site.
Then look at the "Our Neighbor" photo, that was taken from our TT door, that is where Dee's and my site will be.

Bob, Look at the "View3" photo....those trees on the left is where your site is. The building on the right is the Restrooms.

Dee- You will look at the "Our Neighbor" photo as well.

As you can see there is plenty of room to mix it up so bring an extra hose, extention cord, etc. They charge by the RV, not the site.

Hope this helps.

DK&3kids

Thanks Brian - got your cell - everything looks awesome.  We are looking forward to it....hope you are NOT in a tent!!!:yikes:  I wish we could leave earlier, but prob. not and it should take us 3-3.5 hours.  I still haven't heard back from Indian Hill Ranch, but gonna give them a day or so.  It sounds like there is plenty of room regardless and we'll make it work!  Will bring extra hose and cord just in case.

Brian - thank you for planning all of this.

We tried to fish for 5 weeks and caught only 2 little 3 inch fish so we are looking forward to fishing.  HEY...btw, does Dan need a license.  His CA license is expired.

No fishing license needed. We had asked about that the first time we went. We were told it is on private property and Game and Fish can not get behind the gate without a key or them letting them in.

Dee4j

ok too late tootired to reply to all that was posted..maybe tomorrow afternoon but i will reply to this...

Brian you will NOT be in a tent..you forget...How many people can we fit in Dee's trailer??

if you don't have your TT back in time..you and Kristi can have the Queen in front..Ashlee on the futon couch..my kids in their bed as usual and Dan & I in the other double in the back....hey we ARE the Fish Squad...all for one one for all :D ..You'll just have to put up with mt snoring  :banghead:
We drink like fish and make big Fire :!  I will see what I can do with the "fish Squad" Logo... maybe I should send it to Freedom 5...since he's the organized one..I will try to at least make some print outs of it.

I must fill out some more of those blank Apples cards :yikes:
