I went to a Walgreen's in So. Cal. yesterday and got a tabletop gas barbecue for $9.99.  We used our old one to death and it finally gave up on us.

They also had an ice pack that is a sheet of blue ice to put in your cooler.  It was $1.50 each and I got two, to which DH asked why I only got two.  Anyway, I've seen these in catalogs for 5.99 or more, plus S&H, so I was rather pleased.

Lastly, in the dollar section they have a large level for $1.  Bright yellow so you can't leave it at the CG accidentally!  I bought two -- one for truck and one for trailer.  We've forgotten the level from home more than once, so now we won't have that problem.  And at $1, no one's upset it if gets misplaced or broken.

Now is the time to be watching all the stores for the annual clearing-out-o-the-summer-goodies.  You can score some cheap stuff for the trailer.

Thanks for the info.  I will try to remember to check them out as soon as we get near a Walgreens.  I am one that loves a good sale and am always on the watch for clearance signs, just to see what I can find that is interesting.

I did the same thing the other day while grocery shopping. They had all the summer clearance for 75% off. I picked up a portable gas BBQ for $4.99, that was a smokin' deal. They also had the charcoal one for $2.99 but I didn't like the legs on it. I wanted something that would fold away. But still good deals.
Thanks,
Mary
