2004 elecric lift system

Called dealer today to see if trailer was ready to be picked up (warranty work) I was told that the lift motor gave out...!!!!!!! hell that would be about 24 times it got lifted and lowered. they ordered a new motor (winch) and is back ordered. Seems they have had soooo many problem with this motor they are going to upgrade the motor and can't send one out. glad it happened on their watch!

What is the make of the top lift you have? I have an 01 Niagara with a Barker top lift that was installed when the trailer was new. It has well over a hundred lifts on it and sofar it has never had a problem of any kind. I clean and  grease it's gear box once a year....I had a 99 Santa Fe with a top lift made by Atwood..It was very noisey and always had problems..Warranty replaced it with a Barker lift and I had no more trouble.......
