I have seen a lot of people talking about adding an A/C Brace on the coleman mach A/C's to prevent the plastic shroud from ripping off.  While in Lowe's Home Improvement this weekend, I passed by a rack of metal rods, bars and plates.  I found a piece of aluminum that was 3/4" wide by 1/8" thick and about 4 ft long (don't remember exact lenth).  It cost about $7.00.  In about 15 minutes I had cut it to length and bent it by hand to the curve of the shroud.  I used a vise to help with the bending.  I used 1" long pieces as spacers between the black plastic washers and the brace.  It fits like a charm.

Can't wait to give it a try on the highway!

Alan,

here's a few I just took.  Sorry for the poor quality.  It was dark and raining when I took them.  If you're looking for something specific, let me know and I get you what you need.
