What time do you expect to get to Locust Lake Friday?

I was wondering what time everyone thinks they will get to Locust Lake SP on Friday.  We should be there about 1700 to 1730.

I have only talked to Dee, but right now my plans for Locust Lake are up in the air...it is not Ryamond, it is not Jeffrey, it is Hurricane Katrina.

Louisiana put in a call for help for Social WOrkers with knowledge and expereince with Food Stamps to go down IF needed.  The interested parties needed to have their names in on Friday.  I volunteered, Raymond did not. Jeffrey is still at boot camp in PA, so until the end of the month, he is out of the equation.

As of right now, I am planning to be at Locust Lake, and will be there early on Friday as I have the day off.  I may ask for another day off and stay thil MOnday as I have a Victorian thingee in Hamburg PA with a friend...yes I have an out fit, have an extra two (sorry, you will have to furnish your own hoop slip) I could bring if anyone wants to come along, they could borrow one, BuT remember I am rather queen sized...and these were ordered in my size...now just to figure out which one I want to wear, if I am still in the area...geesh when will life become simple again??

I was originally planning on heading up with someone from del ( I believe it was shebantam  :confused: ) but we decided not to take the kids out of school early so we should be leaving south jersey around 15:30 and be there around 18:00 depending on traffic.  I look forward to seeing you guys there.

Becky, If katrina does not call, I have a tent for the kids and you can stay with me...just let me know and I can pack the tent.  I have the 3 room or the storage shed...Raymond is not coming, his son settles on a house this week and daddy wants to be there to help...

The Victorian thing is in Hamburg on Saturday...Hamburg is where Cabellas is...does a hoop slip fit in Cabella's door and down their aisles? May make a side trip on the way back.

  ken gets off work at 7:00 and home by 8:00 wants to leave by 10:00  so we get to nj by 11:00 hook up by 12:00  and its 2hours plus lunch, so thats puts us a 1500, which is check in time!

Beckie, if you pay for the gas, I'll drop my camper off and come tow yours up to the CG.  Not sure how you'd get it home though...  ??

Well if I can't get the Moose fixed in time, we will at least come up on Saturday and have fun, it is not that far for us.  I guess I should get the Caravan fixed up to haul the camper just in case.  Have to get a 7 blade plug, and wired for the break controller.  Jez, it was so much easier with the Jayco and the surge brakes.  Oh well.  We will see you there.  How about I brings some salad to the pot luck?  A green salad and a pasta salad.

Thanks everyone for the offers...I did get an appointment for the Moose for Wednesday!  They should be able to get it fixed in time.  Whoohoo!  I'm goin' campin'!

I remember sweat'n the clutch right before cherokee.

I went to a group campout at Eagles Peak the month before the one I met up with Tracy and Becky, and Lee (Dee were you there??) Raymond did not have the plug in right and I drug the plug a number of miles before I realized I did not have camper lights (now I have the lit break controller).  

When I went to plug up to go home, I blew the break connector in my 7way...talk about fun, I missed the turn to get to 897 and ended up going down some road named "mountain" with signs showing dangerous curves ahead and VERY narrow roads...since I knew I did not have brakes, I took it very easy, then called raymond to meet me in Gap PA to follow me as I did not have break lights either and PA41 can get crazy on a  Sunday afternoon...it was.  

Moral is Becky, if you take the caravan, get it wired, it is interesting to run without brakes being pushed by a heavy trailer (that was when I started collecting and the camper was lighter)  (:  Hopefully you can get the Moose fixed in time.

Looks like we'll be getting there after all you folks. I have to take my mom to my brother's house in central jersey first and Chris doesn't get home til about 5:30 so looks like we'll arrive after dark as usual. Can't wait to camp again
