Auto Changeover Regulator For Bayside

I was wondering if there is an Auto Changeover regulator that will work on my 02 Bayside.  It has the outside high pressure stove and the other low pressure accessories.  All of the Auto Changeovers I've seen seem to only be for low pressure.  On my current setup it looks like the gas goes through 1 regulator (stage?) before it goes to the high pressure and then on to a second regulator (stage?) for the low pressure.

Could I just remove the 2nd stage and add the autochangeover in place of the old 2nd stage?

Thanks
Travis

Hi Travis,
I have had no luck trying to achieve the same thing.  I finally just settled for installing a tee and controlling the switchover myself.  I hope the first tank doesn't kick in the middle of a cold night in October when I have the furnace going.

Thanks John.  I was wondering If I was the only one....I guess I'll have to do the same thing.

I also looked into getting an autochage regulator when my high pressure regulator started leaking this spring. I still haven't done this mod, but someone else has and said that you have to install a T into the line between the tank and the new auto-change regulator. You run the line to the high pressure regulator from the T and then to your outside stove. You have to set the tank with the outside stove line as your secondary tank. If you don't you will not be able to use the outside stove when running off of your secondary tank.

Here is how it needs to be set up.

secondary propane tank-T< auto changeover regulator-primary propane tank

And the main reason Fleetwood has dropped the high pressure outside line.

Tracy,

I think I understand what you are proposing.  Am I correct in thinking that the fridge, and inside stove (I don't have a furnace) will work correctly with the auto-changeover regulator, but the outside stove will only work when the tank with the Tee between the tank and the regulator has gas in it.  When that tank is empty the stove won't work until I get it refilled?

My other question would be is there such a thing a high pressure auto changeover regulator that I could Tee off after the regulator and send one leg to the stove and the other to a low pressure regulator?

Thanks as always for the input

The fridge and inside stove are low pressure and will work with the auto-change regulator and the tank with the T is needed to run the high pressure outside stove and will not run when that tank is empty.

I have not found an auto-change high pressure regulator.  It would make it easy if they did.:)
