Well, I've just spent the last 6 hours between 2 emergency vets.  First one didn't have time to see her (after waiting an hour), so I went to one further away.  Brandy's got an infection in her surgery wound -- of course.  Nothing comes easy for her.  She'll be going to her regular vet in the morning, so keep those prayers coming.  Thanks, friends.

Thanks.  She went to her regular vet today, and he had to re-suture her & put in a drain.  She's spending the night there, and when she comes home will be confined to a kennel 24/7 until that incision heals completely.  Let's hope that she didn't pick up yet another bug that is resistant to antibiotics.  The thought crossed my mind today that it might be time to let her go, but the vet doesn't think so.  At least not yet -- as long as we can get rid of any infection she should be okay.  Thanksgiving's going to be quiet.  Thanks -- again.
