Adventures in Route Finding

We have used AAA triptiks but most of all, we use TDW. Tha is trusted dear wife.

We generally sit down and take a look at where we want to go, compare with the triptik and then decide on the route we would like to take.

Did a lot of that on our last trip.  DW is great at finding good alternative routes.

We generally seek routes that are going to take us around the big cities.  Don't enjoy towing in Washington, Chicago, or New York.

Our method just makes it more fun to travel and not very scientific.  big advantage is that we often find things along the way that we didn't know about or would have missed.

Guess it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks.  I would still rather use a typewriter than a computer.
