Time to "bump it up".
Just to add some more content, I'll inform everyone that reads this little tidbit that I had to have my appendix removed Tuesday evening. All went OK and I am now at home resting. I return to work on Monday.

When we hook up at the rally, I'll even show you my scar!

Bob

Several years ago, I went to the ER fearing apendicitis.  I don't go to the doctor easily, but there are some things that are "better embarrased than dead."

I told the doc, "I want you to tell me this isn't appendicitis."
He said, "It's not. It's diverticulitis, and you have a microfine puncture of the bowel.  A small amount of bowel material has leaked into your abdomen.  We're putting you on IV antibiotics and admitting you.  If it had been any worse, we would have been doing emergency surgery, and you would have had a colostomy.  Three months later, we'd do follow-up surgery to reverse the colostomy."

I was hospitalized for six days, and have had to stop eating some of my most favorite foods (strawberries, cashews, etc.).

I would have preferred the apendicitis.

But glad to see you recovering.  Hope all goes well.

Just can't let it get killed!

You can let it get killed, you just want to spoil my record.

No.  This is one thread that can never die.  However, your record is safe, I'm sure.  I would think you will remain the king of the threadkillers.

Quote from: dthurkNo.  This is one thread that can never die.

This is the thread that never dies,
Yes it goes on and on, but why?
We just started posting it,
Not knowing what it was,
And we'll all continue posting it
Forever just because...
This is the thread that never dies...

This thread is not dead.
This thread will live and let live.
AB sees to it.

I was just looking at your pics of the 2005 pismo rally...does all your campgrounds have spaces so close together?I have seen spaces so close in E Washington but they where in the middle of towns...I have never been that close in W Washington..even in the group site we camp at every year

No, Pismo's are real close, along with a couple of others.  But most of the CG's we've been to are decent sized sites.  There are even a few that you have to give the wife and kids a kiss goodbye when you visit your neighbor.
Check out the Indian Hills 7-23-05 pictures.  Look for the one that says "Our Neighbor".  That was the closest site to ours and they all have electric and water so it wasn't a dry camp deal.
