Did I kill the thread...? :yikes:

Quote from: wynotNew question -

Which camper woke to a wet camper with water coming from their ceiling, but it hadn't rained?

Quote from: wynotDid I kill the thread...? :yikes:
I don't think you killed it, but I think this has happened to several people.  I know it has happened to me when we first started camping in a PU.  So am I the person you were thinking of?

How keeps gravy boats, yes plural in their camper?  (I hope I didn't ask this one before)?

Nope, Tracy, you're not the person.  But you were around when it happened...  Think about what would cause what I said...

It's been asked...

I am assuming it was condensation.  The only other water problem I remember was Sara and Noel's water lines and water heater cracked.:)

dee106

paula, carries gravy and inflatable boats in her camper:eyecrazy:

HersheyGirl

Wynot,  are you talking about the leaking A/C in my camper....and the reason was because I had the bunk end open with the a/c on and water was pouring out of it and flooding the camper?  It was very humid that day.  Is that it?  And you so kindly told me to close the bunkend and keep the door shut if I had the a/c on.

You were the camper, Beckie.  Where was that?  Pine Grove?

However, I was only the first person (but not the last) who mentioned that you can't have the A/C on and the bunkend open when so muggy out...

Was kind of funny though.  I remember Tracy talking about insulating the heat strip, etc..

If I remember right, I don't think they have run water in that camper at all ever since that.

Not insulation the heat strip, insulating the ??? (can't think of the name of it), the metal plate in the AC unit where the cold air coming out of the AC and the warm moist air in the PU meet.  On the Carrier AC units condensation is common at that point.  I have had water dripping out of my AC unit and I had the windows closed.:)

Probably called a plenum.  That was the insulation I was writing about.  Wonder if it a problem on the Coleman Machs?  Beckie's experience kept us from putting the strip in for about a year...

I think we ran out of questions, so her is one.:)

Who usually doesn't get out of bed until at least 10:00 to 11:00 am?

DiW

That would be my teenagers. Oh, you mean an adult COTOC member. That one is easy - copcarguy  :D

"Who plugged a tv into the electric outlet outside North/South Lake bathhouse?"

Gee Di you have me totally stumped on that one.  I have no idea.

copcarguy

Was it the guys that wanted to watch sports on the TV??  Since I'm not sure if this is the correct answer, I won't post a question right now...

DiW

Go ahead and ask away, Rick. It was my gang (Jason really) who brought along a tv because Jason was NOT happy to be camping and missing a game (I believe it was a Yankee game). Of course, I didn't know about this beforehand. It served him right that the reception was as bad as one would expect...
