I know SheBantam.   I just thought it was funny and thought it might be a good ice breaker.

if all are going to be there tomorrow night (fri) why don't you hold the pot luck, since the rain will be around all day saturday

copcarguy

OK all - we're hitched up, packed up and ready to go.  Are they strict on getting there before check-in?  I can't wait to get there and pop up!

We do have a pavilion to use for the pot luck, so we should be ok.

People may not have time to get their food cooked.  I don't think we will get to the campground until about 6 and then until we set up (and the beds have to be made, because I took the bedding off to wash it) I would not be ready for the dinner until 7:30 at the earliest.  :)

They do have something posted on theirsite about early check in...They do not do it!

I am going to leave in about 5 minutes, just printed off directions (again) and "fun" cards, as opposed to business. I only did 20 as I had forgotten to.

I have the software (bought it for my Viggo adventures in CA and NYC so also am using for camping cards.

See you all when ever. I ahve chicken breasts and frozen Rosemary taters and Lima beans for my supper. Quick and easy/

Hey Folks,

There and back again.
It rained the whole way home, I can imagine your night was very wet!  Thanks for the hospitality and great dinner, good to see everyone again and looking forward to the next campout.  The Ram wil get a check up tomorrow...again...so we hope not to be homeless on the next adventure.
See ya when we see ya.

I got home wet, but ok.  The camper is set up, the sun is out and I am going out soon to pack it back up and take it to the dealers.  There is something wrong with the lift system again and the roof gasket has split again, gerrrrrrr.

Hello all!

Thanks for a nice weekend.  It was nice to see everyone again.  We never made it the campfire last night, sorry for that.  After the potluck, we went back to the camper, and fell asleep until this morning.  I guess we were tired.

See some of you in just 2 weekends at North Lake!

SheBantam

I've been home a little while
Shoo=nufff there was a sign, om 22, actually several that said the TP was closed between tow exits, not wanting to have to tuen the camper around, I went straight, I by passed PA100, because that way to 202 is rather curvy, then it puts me out on busy 202 with lots of lights for miles and miles...
Ao I went onto Cabellas Exit, came down by Reading, over to Morganstown and picked up PA 10...to Delaware and home...about the same time or less than taking 100...but a hole lot less hassels...

I had the truck unhitched when hubby showed up he took the cooler in (rolling) and I emptied it...now I am relaxing. I worked hard today!

Hi guys. Been home awhile but didn't find time to post. Have the popup drying out in our driveway. Will keep it up for a couple days probably. Will have to recoat it (waterproofing) since had some beading on the bunkends - lower edge vinyl sections I think. Never had that before. That rain sure was heavy last night. Dee, thanks for putting the tarp up and hosting the campfire. It was nice to catch up with everyone. Sorry some of you had to drive back last night but I appreciate your effort in joining us for the day. Maybe we'll drive up to North Lake to do the same...

Tracy, sorry you're having more troubles with the popup. Certainly not what you wanted for your birthday.

It was fun meeting some new people on this trip. Hope we (& the weather) didn't scare them away.

I was so bummed out that I had to leave last night.  But hey, I got to spend the day with the "Rally in the Rain Gang".  It was such a good dinner and so nice to meet the new folks and visit with the old, not old old, but old folks, you know what I mean.  It took me 3 hours to get home, had dense fog, lots of pouring rain, road construction, and crazy drivers, but we got home safe and sound.  Can't wait until I can get my camper out and not be homeless.

I am home again.  I opened the PU and dried it out, then took of for the dealers.  I dropped the PU off and left a not about what is wrong with it this time. :eyecrazy:   I will call them tomorrow and see if they can find out what is wrong with the lift system and fix it before NS Lake in 12 days.  They also need to reseal the corner of the roof gasket, again!

I want to thank you all for coming to my BD party, especially in the rain.  It sure was wet, wet, wet, but you guys made my BD fun.  Hope to see everyone again soon.:)

Rick how is that new cassette potty working???;)

You didn't have to leave, you did have a place to camp for the weekend.

Di it could be condensation on the vinyl and not leaking.  If you are going to waterproof the tenting you want to use 303's Hi Tech Fabric Guard, if you are going spray the Sunbrella tenting.
