April 21 to 23 weekend-Tracy's birthday bash

we got in at 2:00pm, unloaded and ken left for work, and I for the hospital to see dad. It was a nice wet weekend, and my son enjoyed putting faces to the names we talk about!
 to our newbie crowd, it was great having you join us, and hope you come on a lot more trips, Jim it was your wood spitting:p not mine! Glad we got a warm dry place to break bread in, to bad we only had the room for a short time, but it was the quality of time that counted not the quantity.

Thanks Tracy. Was just by Chris and Kelsey's heads and didn't have fans running so maybe could be condensation. Maybe I'll recheck it this week while I have it popped up (if it rains or I'll spray water on the bunkends).

Hi guys. Been home awhile but didn't find time to post. Have the popup drying out in our driveway. Will keep it up for a couple days probably. Will have to recoat it (waterproofing) since had some beading on the bunkends - lower edge vinyl sections I think. Never had that before.

It was fun meeting some new people on this trip. Hope we (& the weather) didn't scare them away.

Di, I had the same thing on the end that nobody slept in a little under the window on my side. I have never seen the beading ebfore either. this was where the plastic (sunbrella??) is and not just plain canvas.

You think it was the superhigh humidy and the coldness outside and the warm inside? remember our glasses when we went into the pool area???
And the steam/fog coming off the lake because the air was colder than the water? Same principle? One of our science majors know?

Jim, We almost went home with you. My DH got on 80W by accident - I believe I heard another "You're right" when he realized we were heading in the wrong direction. Of course, I have no proof of that... Luckily we were able to turn around in E. Stroudsburg (next exit).

Another rainy day - how can that be? The COTOC trip is over

Sorry, yes we skipped another COTOC trip. We did camp. Went to French Creek SP. 30 minutes from home. Close enough for DS activities.

Hopefully you will make another one of our trips.  What is the campground like at French Creek?  I have never camped there.

Just wanted to let everybody know what a nice time my family and I had camping. It couldn't have been with a nicer group of fellow campers.  From the cookies to the help with the campers propane problem, somebody was always there to lend a hand. I just wish we didnt book so many other camping trips, we would of liked to attend another cotoc trip. Thanks again,

I am sorry I didn't get to say good bye to you.  You guys were gone before I knew it.  For your first COTOC trip we did have a wet one.  Hopefully the next one will not be so bad.

I really like French Creek SP. Lots of trees so it is shady in the summer. The sites are pretty big and your neighbors are not very close.Lots of trails to hike. Two lakes to fish. The state record small mouth bass came out of one of the lakes.

We're actually going there for the first time this summer, on August 18th - 20th. I hope it's as nice as it sounds...
