I'm happy to say i did my first MOD's in the new PU today.

1) I put carpert on the step so not to slippery when wet.
2) I made the breather  drain valve for the grey water from the sink. I used
PVC and on the breather tube I glued a water regulator screen on it so no
bugs or leaves can get in.
3) I mounted a tool box to the frame right next to the propane tank. I got a black
metal tool box from wal-mart for $10 dollars. I had the screws and an extra pad
lock, so it was an inexpensive MOD.

Now i understand how you all get hooked on making changes to your PU's. Man, I'm hooked. I have several more ideas for MODs. Tomorrow we are going to take some pics with my wifes New digital camera of both the MOD's and the PU. I will find a place to post them and share with you all, like you've shared with me. Thanks, ........Ed C.

Hey, Ed!
This is a little (well, a lot) off the subject, but do you want to join us at a private CG outside of Yosemite, probably in late June?  Check out the SCCampers thread for more info.  :D

Our pop-up is PJay's baby, so mods have to go through her.  I'm not sure if it's her opinion of my skills, or she just loves things they way they are, but there have been very few mods to the Taj MaHaul in the nearly six years we have owned it.

After the second time replacing some broken drawer brackets, I shimmed the bracket mounting so they would be extended less and have less leverage-type forces on them.  Don't know how well it has worked yet.

I put strips of red & white reflective tape along the frame on the sides.  There are seven lamps illuminating the ~7' wide back of the trailer, but only two illuminating the 19' side.  I figured we are hauling enough after dark that I want very good night visibility, especially at intersections.

Added a mount for the battery box.  The battery had been mounted on the propane rack, and we wanted space for a second tank.

Added brackets for a Reese Mini-350 weight distributing hitch.  (Had to move the above battery mount to do so.  Always plan ahead.)
