note on the firepit: you can bring your own but it must be enclosed no open pits. also if you want to rent one I would ask at check in or they may run out
 
or just head down to my/Vikings site we always have a warm fire there

Actually, VLR was sold out of fire pits by check-in time last year. If anyone wants their own fire pit, I would encourage calling and reserving it now.

We're bringing our firepit & some wood.

We will pick up some wood from our house at Twain Harte and bring with us. We only have 12+ cords of wood and more logs waiting to be cut and split. We have not idea yet what we're going to cook, however I did see another chocolate cake recipe I might try. I actually might make my chocoholic cake with a couple of modifications to do at theJanuary DOg competition.

We will also bring some wood from home. I think for breakfast we will be making cheesy scrambled eggs and sausage links. Not sure on what to bring for dinner yet.

Mmmmm....everything sounds good.  I think we'll be bringing chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and chili for dinner.  I'm also thinking about bringing some hot apple cider (and some Tuaca for the adults) as a beverage.  

We'll also bring wood and our fire pit.

I tried Tuaca  for the first time a couple of weeks ago and can vouch that it is really good.

Does anyone have a projector to hook up to laptops to project movies?

 Brandon has made a makeshift 8x6 screen that he uses for the Adventures Princesses' camping trips so the kids can watch a movie outside at night (someone else in the group has a projector).  We thought if someone had a projector, we all have laptops....maybe we could have a movie night for the kids.

Paul was just saying last night that if we could work something like this out, we could do a movie night and watch "RV" as a group -- since we can all relate to it and we laughed our heads (and other body parts) off when we watched it.
