Quote from: DiWThrow an extra log on for me - oh, that's right, you don't need any encouragement to make the fire bigger.
I picked up a load of wood at work today.  Loaded it into the Taurus and then over to the TV when I got home.  I will miss you Di.:)
Quote from: SheBantamSo you all are REALLY going???
Shari and I are planning Breakfast at Shady Maple on Saturday, then on to Hamburg to see our friend at work, and we should be up in the afternoon on Saturday.
We are going out to pack the TV now.  Looking forward to seeing you Paula.:)

Paula I sent you an email, but received an auto response that you were out of the office until the 21st.  I wanted to give you my cell phone number in case you needed to get a hold of us at the campground.  Can you get the email or should I send it to a different address?

Andy I sure hope it is Friday.  I was hoping you would help me unload the fire wood I am bringing.;)   There has to be over 150 pounds of nice dry oak.  DS has gym on Friday so we I will have to bring him home to shower before we leave.  I still hope to be there by 6 PM.  I am working a half day.  Who ever gets there first please let the campground know we are coming.  I have not had a reply to my email.  Rick call a tow truck to pull your red box out of the yard, while the red box is pulling the white box out of the yard, IF you have too.  I hope you get it pulled out OK.:)

Great!  It looks like you will be the first on there.  Please tell them we would like to be in the back by the log cabin bathroom.  See you tonight.:)

Andy
I am bringing nice kiln dried oak, that is why it is so heavy.  I figure Rick will burn it all tonight;)  so you should bring some for Saturday night.  I have some new fire color stuff to burn too.:)

Too bad we didn't have the weather we had the last few days.  It is 50 degrees here right now.

Well off to work this morning then home to pack my new ice box.:)

Have a great time, guys.  Stay warm, it looks like it will be cold!

Hey all!

After being on hold, I finally got someone at the KOA on the phone.  The front desk closes at 7pm.  Since we all agreed that we wanted to be near the log cabin bathroom, the closest sites they had are N36, N38, N42, and N46.  This is where we were for one of our previous get-togethers near the wooden train playground thingy.  The girl blocked them off for us, if you get there after the front desk closes, she'll put the info in the late arrival box.  If you get there before the front desk closes, she said everything's under my name.  Not sure if everyone will get my KOA Value Card discount or not.

It's really windy around here, everyone have a safe trip!

For those of you that didn't come camping, we are having a good time.  Internet is available, so as you can see I signed up for a day of it.  It was cold last night, but not as cold as I thought it would be.  I had my Carrier V AC/Heat on all night and it kept the PU at 55 degrees.  It was 24 degrees out side over night.  We took a trip to Cabalas in Hamburg, PA, it was nice.  Had dinner at the restaurant at the campground (buffet is part of the Valentines special), and now we are ready for Rick the fire builder to build us a nice fire.  Sorry you guys didn't come camping with us.:)

Tracy, did everyone show up? Did the wind get to you? We had wild flurries today. Glad to hear you're having fun. WIsh it was as much fun here. In Friday night's 8th grade bball tournament, Kel's team got slaughtered by a team from Harlem (those girls were phenomenal). Tonight our girls played tough and won. Not sure that's better - double elimination so she has to return for yet another tough game on Monday. Tomorrow starts the 7th grade tournament. And so the fun continues...

Order191 was here first on Friday about 4:30.  I was second at about 6:10, Copcarguy didn't get here until 8:00ish and Andym86 came on Saturday morning.  We had some wild flurries here yesterday too.  Last night my thermometer had 9 degrees outside and my AC/heat strip kept the camper at 39.  I know you think that is cold, but we slept great.  We had a great fire last night.  My copper pipe was white when we took it out of the fire.  We had white coals too.  Beckie came out for dinner last night and stayed for the fire.  I watched the sun rise this morning and it was so bright.  There wasn't much color, but bright light.  Yesterday the sun didn't come out until later.  You wouldn't believe it.  Rick was up around 7 am Saturday morning.  That is a first on a camping trip.  Today we are going to meet Beckie at the Coleman outlet in Lancaster.

Paula what happened to you?  Are you OK?

I am posting a few pictures from last night in my webshots account.  They are in the folder 2006 Camping Trips.:)
