Wow, congratulations, A-B!

You've really got me thinking now. One of my daughters has been married for about a year and a half now. No news yet in the GC dept. I don't spend much time thinking about it. The DW and I were married seven years before we had kids, so I just sort of forget that it can happen more quickly than that. By the standards of those of you who are sharing your age, I am WAY old enough. But I sure don't feel like it!

BTW, after looking forward to being a grandfather, I found out tonight that I will be a grandfather. Now,
 
I'm too young to be a grandfather.
 
BTW, the pill does not work for wives of marines stationed at Camp Lejune...she's the third in their group to become pregnant while using the pill.

My mom & dad were bugging my siblings and me for grandkids ~ started about 12 years ago.  Now they have 10 grandkids and number 11 is due in a few weeks .... and they travel about 6 months out of the year!!  LOL

My older brother is 8 years older than me.  His first child was born when he was 43, his second at 47.  My first grandchild will be when I'm 46...so you are in between us.  Maybe you get the best of both worlds?

Yeah, just busy - see DH camper post, I explained a little there.  I also said to Lee, " Jeez, haven't Larry and Holly had a baby yet??!!"  Then he reminded me we were married about 5 years before we started!!  It doesn't seem like I've been gone that long!
