In light of recent discussions on a couple threads that you may have missed (because the subject line doesn't really match the topic) ... I thought it would be fun to see where we've been!

How many states have you been to?

How many states have you camped in?
(doesn't have to be in your current PU ~ any kind of camping counts)

Since I started it ~ I'll start.

27 States visited ( I really thought it was more until checked ) and
15 camped in.
Ive got to quit ignoring the SW states and plan a trip out there.

Well, lets see...Been in every state but the west coast, Alaska, and Hawaii.  So, 45 states I have been too and have camped in.  When I was younger, we only ever vacationed by pop-up camper so it is the same.  My current family, together we have only been camping in 5 states.  Impossible to go farther without feeling like I need to drop the kids off on the side of the road :eyecrazy: .

Just so nobody feels intimidated by the high numbers of the previous posters, and is to shy to post, here are some low numbers.

We all have to start somewhere.  

Also, not everyone has as a goal to camp everywhere.  If the only way you camp is to get away from the house for the weekend, you are never going to make 49 states, and that's just as valid as someone who's goal is 51 states and is ready to make California into two states to get there.

Besides, when you've lived in the New England (like me), you can camp in six states and not cover an area the size of Minnesota.  Add New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware (4 more states for a total of 10) and you're just about up to Texas.

If you've camped in one or two states, so what?  Post anyway.

I've enjoyed visiting 35 of these United States (37 using A-B's Texas division formula:D ) and one District of Columbia

I have been in 42 states (I think).  I have camped in at least 12 states.  I will update these numbers when I have a chance to talk to my parents.  I'm not sure what states I may have forgotten that we camped in when I was a child.  I also know for sure that we have camped in at least one Canadian province.  This will make a fun conversation sometime this week-end.  I have also been to DC, Mexico, and Great Britain.  Fun times!

States the current PU have been towed through 17 (PA, OH, IN, MI, NJ, NY, DE, MD, VA, WV, NC, TN, CT, MA, NH, VT, ME)
 
States I have slept in, but not all in the PU 20 (PA, NY, CT, MA, ME, VT, NJ, MD, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, TX, AZ, NV, CA, WY, AR, OH)
 
If gas prices don't go to high, we will add 8 states to the list and camp in several of them.
